It happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7 in Babylon.
Suffolk County Police said a 41-year-old man was driving a 2021 Nissan Maxima northbound on Deer Park Avenue when the vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied 2014 Toyota RAV4 and came to a stop in the front yard of a residence.
The victim, identified as John Liccione of North Babylon, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
